The above inquiry questions have two main focal points and ideas; healthy community and shared responsibility. In order to successfully understand this inquiry, we need to define the ideas. A healthy community is one where people have access to quality education, safe and healthy homes, adequate employment, transportation, physical activity and nutrition. Shared responsibility is then a prevision where everyone is required to contribute.
The health of a community is fundamental in order to keep the people in that area happy and healthy and so in turn, this is a shared responsibility. In being a healthy community this also relates to being a community and building strong relationships with the people around you. Types of healthy things a community can include is a community, fully sustainable garden with a neighbourhood gardening team where everyone is needed to contribute. A large part of what makes a healthy community is happiness and without happiness the community would be almost non-existent. A lot of time, people find happiness in other people and through big community events. In order for communities to be healthy, they need to be shared and all people equally contributing to the society.
Healthy communities are a shared responsibility and in order for people to be healthy and happy, everyone needs to contribute.
What is a healthy community:
A healthy community when individuals come together to make their community better for themselves including, other residents that live in that particular area. A Healthy Community benefits by generating leadership opportunities for everyone, protects diversity, connects people and resources, and shapes a sustainable future. A healthy community is not aimed just towards the heath of the individuals, but also directed to the environment in which the residents/individuals live in, but additionally a healthy community is when all residents have access to a quality education, safe and healthy homes, employment, transportation, physical activity, and nutrition, and quality health care. The health of our communities is serious to the growth and development of our region. But for this to be achieved everyone needs to work together and contribute, such as everyone putting rubbish in the correct bins, not wasting food etc.
What does it mean by shared responsibility:
Shared responsibility means that everyone has a role to play in terms of looking after their environment but also it refers to having relationships with all members, and working together to implement methods and ideas in order to have a heathy community. In relation to biosecurity, it is the protection of the economy, environment and community from the negative impacts of pests and diseases, weeds and contaminants. This is outlining the concept by demonstrating that many people are working together to prevent pests from entering our environment. I agree that shared responsibility is important because everyone has a role to play, but also everyone's work in terms of helping the environment is contributed greatly.
A healthy community is community where people can socialise and live in a safe and secure area. And residents have access to quality education, property, employment, services and healthcare but is also on a environmental aspect where residents of the community throw out waste are responsible for their environment greatly.
The shared responsibilities about everyone working to together like everyone has role and their own responsibility like recycling, prevention of pests and help each other as a community
I agree with the statement: Healthy communities are a shared responsibility.
To sustain a healthy community, everyone in the surrounding environment needs to contribute, to ensure that the community’s are healthy. It’s with compassion and dedication that the overall results can be strongly achieved to a high standard. A shared responsibility means that everyone has a specific role which is important for keeping the community’s healthy and each and every individual with a high level of well-being.
Creating a healthy community often takes time and consideration which needs to be consistently demonstrated. The community’s do play an important role in keeping the environment healthy. However the government/country or place you live in also contributes to this concept and the quality of how the levels of health are shown. Social gathering events builds the connection between the community which ultimately allows them to be more productive when applying the concept of having a healthy community and displaying it as a shared responsibility.
If everyone was to contribute (even a slight amount) to keeping the community healthy, there would be no issues and community’s would be showing beneficial results. The key to creating a healthy community is by allowing the individual community members to help one another which fundamentally increases the levels of trust and community contribution in the future. This allows the concept of a shared community is a shared responsibility to be extremely high in terms of the level of quality produced.
