Emma Ayliffe says agriculture in the outback is the journey of a lifetimePosted on April 25, 2015Today’s guest at JPC was Emma Ayliffe she started on a sheep station in outback South Australia and takes us to the lush lakebed cropping fields of one of New South Wales’s most unique cotton operations. She’s a girl from the bush who’s found her way back again as on-farm agronomist, an enthusiastic photographer and a lover of all things crops and cotton.
Emma visited JPC and the Archi team this morning to check in on our progress and meet with the students! She presented a talk about her journey and the cotton industry! Below is ai link to her story and on the right is her presentation she gave at our school

On Monday I had an look into not only the life of a farmer which is very different to my own life but I also had a look into the cotton growing cycle and the big process it is to get cotton to become suitable for everyday use.

Thank you Emma Arylifee for visiting us. During your time at John Paul college, everyone including myself learnt many things. Your presentation was very interesting and engaging based on the positives and negatives about cotton. But additionally thank you for helping my group (biosecurity) in terms of correcting our work and coming up with problems and solutions to help us.
